CVM to Issue Field Assignments to Collect and Analyze Pet treats!

It looks like enough damage through recalls due to salmonella  from pig ears and other pet treats that because of the crossover to humans that handle the products something is now being done which is a step in the right direction!  Canned food is not  covered but we're moving up step by step!    

It seems as if salmonella is found  there can be penalties to the companies.  This does not however cover treats that are imported so stay away from imports!

4-3 -2013 Bravo Recalls Raw Frozen Food Diet

Bravo Recalls:

Though once again there are no reports from consumers of ill pets the company is recalling these products out of precaution as they were made on the same day as other recalled foods. Obviously using the same  plant or product as other recalls . I respect companies that do this out of precaution and this company even brought in a third party to test for salmonella so Kudos to them!
